The Domain

I created the Domaine in 2004 when I took over my grandparents'vines, bought in 1984. My aim from the very start was to produce wines that expressed the great terroirs of Burgundy.

Up until that time the vines had been cultivated by different wine producers. The vineyard surface area was gradually increase to the 8 hectares we have today. The vines are mainly situated in the north of the Côte de Beaune and on the Côte de Nuits, in the villages of Chorey-Les-Beaune, Pernand-Vergelesse, Ladoix, Comblanchien, Nuits-Saint-Georges and Vougeot.

In the early days, my team and I vinified the wines on premises belonging to my parents, near the Comblanchien quarry, but now most of the work is carried out in Chorey-Les-Beaune.

As well as running the Domaine, we have also set up the "Haute couture" wine trading company, through which we buy wines from some of the prestigious appelations in the Côte de Beaune. We build long term partnerships with the wine producers from whom we buy grapes, and provide them with viticultural quality specifications. A team of the wine estates's pickers harvests the vineyard parcels in order to obtain good maturity and treat the grapes with the necessary care they require until they reach the cellar.

We using organic viticultural methods throughout our vineyards, which respect and preserve the terroir, the eco-system and most importantly the health of the consumer.
