Vineyard
This vineyard is located in Premeaux-Prissey, next to the Clos des Grandes Vignes near Nuits Saint Georges. It is a clay and limestone soil.
Vinification
After being harvested by hand, the grapes are vatted in truncated wooden vats. They then undergo a one-week cold maceration, followed by natural fermentation. The devatting after 3 weeks of maceration is decided by tasting. After pressing, the wines are placed in oak barrels for about 8-10 months. After ageing the wines are bottled by gravity without fining or filtration.
Tasting
This wine has a beautiful ruby red colour, with notes of fresh fruit on the nose. On the palate, a nice freshness and greediness. Ready to drink.
Conservation
6 to 8 years (in good temperature and humidity conditions).
